One week of Raw

It started with an ad I saw regarding a man who had lost tons of weight eating raw. So, I decided to check into it a little further and after a few weeks of reading and ordering books and surfing the web--I went for it.

I'm starting slow and I guess you could say I am Medium Raw. There is so much information out there about eating raw that it can be and is overwhelming. But--I am doing two meals a day raw as well as any snacks and dinner is simply fish and a green veggie. I do consume a lot of water throughout the day and green tea in the morning.

I have to say that I already feel better and I have lost 6 pounds. Incredible. And if I get hungry I reach for fruit. I'm buying organic now and was kind of a vegan to begin with and mostly because I can't handle the sight of red meat. I haven't noticed any cravings or mourning of any foods I have given up but it's only my first week. I'll see how it goes --but honestly--I feel really good.

This is the end of my first week. And now--I'm looking into a juicer.
